All of our trees have been grown in the best possible conditions, and are 100% Irish.

Goods are described as accurately as possible. However, there may be variations of the characteristics of individual trees since they are all individual living plants.

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the trees.ie Website ("the Site"). The following are the terms and conditions for use of and purchase of products from the gift tree company trading as trees.ie ("the Company"). Use of the Site constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these terms, which may at any time be amended. Your use at any time thereafter constitutes your agreement to be bound by the terms as amended.

Cancellation & Returns

Our products are living plants and need to be cared for after delivery. ( see aftercare instructions)

We want you to get years of pleasure from your tree, and will offer a replacement service on our trees with the possible exception on trees which might have suffered from inadequate care.

Any changes or cancellation in respect of any order must be notified in writing to the company within two days of placing the order.

Delivery & Notification

Prices include delivery charges. Deliveries for specific days cannot be guaranteed, all gifts will be delivered within 5 working days pending customs. Where orders are placed after notified last order date the Company does not accept responsibility for late delivery. Proof of Delivery of gift(s) shall be good evidence of delivery of the specific gift(s) as requested by the customer and no question shall be raised as to delivery of individual items therein. Risk in respect of goods transfers to you the buyer upon execution of delivery docket. You are responsible for providing correct address and telephone number. The Company cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if recipient address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect. Any shortfall of which you become aware must be notified to the Company within four days of receipt of goods. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 30 days of despatch of goods. Trees.ie cannot be responsible should local customs authorities wish to confiscate any gift or any particular item contained in a gift or hamper, or charge any duty.

Payment

Payment must be made in full four working days prior to trees being despatched, failing which the Company may at its absolute discretion refuse to effect delivery.

Ownership Rights & Limitation

All goods are the property of the Company until all goods and all outstanding debts to the Company and/or its associate companies have been paid for in full. This Site, its contents together with any trade names used by the Company are protected by intellectual property rights and permission is only given for personal use. Any use beyond that permitted may constitute an infringement of owners' rights and may be prosecuted.

Limitation as to damages

The Company shall take all reasonable care in packaging items. In the event that any such items are damaged in transit the Company shall be responsible for replacement costs of item only. The Company shall not in any way be responsible for any personal injury or damage to property howsoever caused.

General

The company is unable to accept personalised gift cards, though we are happy to include a Trees.ie card with your message. Unless you indicate otherwise your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to the Company replying to you by electronic mail for such purposes as the Company may consider appropriate. The Company does not accept any responsibility to the extent that the Site is connected to any other sites or services beyond it’s the control. It is the policy of Trees.ie to ensure that all goods are supplied to our customers in perfect condition and that every possible precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product that is sold. The Company reserves the right to refuse to supply any individual or company and reserves the right to deny access to the Site. Trees.ie cannot be responsible for delays due to custom regulations outside the EU. Trees.ie' registered business number (RBN) is 262171. This site is provided through English only.
